The platform may process account data, profile details, memorial text, uploaded media, tribute messages, family-tree relationships, QR-code metadata and payment-related identifiers. Payment card data should be handled only by the configured payment provider and not stored directly by Ritual.

Information is used to provide memorial pages, authentication, account administration, family and cemetery discovery features, media hosting, moderation, support and security controls.

User responsibilities

Users should upload only content they have the right to share and should avoid publishing sensitive personal information about living people without appropriate permission.

Retention and removal

Account owners should be able to request correction or deletion of their personal data, subject to legal obligations, anti-abuse requirements and backup retention windows.
