How long we keep memorial content and account data, and what happens when a page is archived.
Our principle: archive, not delete
Memorial content is meant to last. When a paid plan is not renewed, the page is archived — it is not deleted. Archived pages remain preserved and can be reactivated by the family at any time, and the QR code continues to resolve.
How long we keep data
Active and archived memorial content is retained for the lifetime of the account unless you ask us to delete it.
Operational logs and audit records are retained for a limited period for security and accountability, then removed.
Backups are rotated on a regular schedule; deleted content may persist in backups for a short window before it is overwritten.
